Yes. It does help. It is important to realise that tinnitus, especially the mild uncomplicated version does improve over time, through habituation and some sort of healing going on. We can assume this because with tinnitus so prevalent if it was the other way it would surely be discussed more in health programs whereas it is virtually absent.

I suppose it’s up to the individual to decide whether it’s moderate or severe? I have severe t I believe but it has calmed down in the past, you have to find your own way through this I find, what works for one won’t necc work for others. Severe t should be discussed more than it is on main stream media as there are enough people who have it that bad trust me! Just look about on this forum if unsure? And it’s worth noting that moderate t can very easily change into severe t, like it did for me! It’s just there isn’t enough being done about it as it’s dwarfed by MND, cancer, and Alzheimer’s etc. But there we are.

hello Golden 321

So pleased that the tinnitus is starting to reduce gradually after four years .

Glad you are getting out and about as much as you can. It’s a great distraction from T when you are out doors and hearing other sounds.

Best wishes to you.

Good on you. I hope my high pitched eeeee lowers the volume. It has been over a year.

yes ! That’s what mine did 20 odd years ago . The sound reduced to where it was virtually silent . It took years ,so slowlyI can’t remember how long it took . With this one ( caused by a statin ) I ‘m about 18 months in and sometimes now it doesn’t bother me , especially when I’m occupied . So yes keep going !
