Sun lamps and Tinnitus !

I'd be interested to know if anyone on this forum uses a Sun-Lamp to counter these dark long winter nights, and if so, do you find it tones down your Tinnitus and uplifts your mood in general. I sometimes use my lamp for 30 minutes each morning I'm convinced it helps with my Tinnitus but I'm not sure if there is an psychological element to doing this ?

Morning blaze

Yes I've used a SAD lamp now for the past 8-9 years during the darker days and I find it helps both my ME and therefore the T..because when we feel more positive we can cope with so much more.

Psychologically proven? I don't know but if it works for you then it is worth using.

Which reminds me I must get ours out and dust it down!

Take care xx

Thanks for your reply AnneJ7. I never had to get my Sun Lamp out this morning because the real thing was bright enough ( and warm enough) surprising for late October but not unheard of. I agree, it does make us more positive after a little while near our light boxes. Best Wishes.
