Hello Diane I absolutely empathise T is hideous! I have recently joined this forum and it is really welcoming and friendly. I have had T for 20 months as a result of auto immune inner ear disease and have hearing loss in my right ear. Intratampanic steroid injections saved my hearing. It is very rare and I live in fear that it will worsen and I will lose hearing in both ears. The T has become such an issue and I know stress makes it worse. Only a fellow T sufferer understands what it is like. I have read other posts which are positive with regards to habituation and really hope this happens to me! Keep strong Best wishes
