Hi Sutton - I'm sorry no one has answered your question yet, however looking back some folks did reply to your previous one, and I see you have an Endo visit soon and having more tests, I hope you have some answers.

I'm sorry you are still unwell even 'tho on T4/T3 - I believe it does take a while to get the combo right. I'm sure you already know, but just in case, folks find that taking meds first thing or last thing at night away from food helps (t4 anyway).

I notice that Vit D is not listed? Speaking personally, it definitely helped my joint pain/muscle aches and effects calcium (so you really should have a calcium test too).

Best wishes, Jane :D

Hi spareribs - thank you for replying - I did go to the endo last week - he said all tests were ok - I think the bloods were only for thyroid I have yet to get results from doctors -I will post again when I know them.

He also said my adrenals & pituary were all ok too ( I had 24 hr urine sample for this) - As I was having horrid symptoms from T3 ( I persevered for 2 months on 20 mcg ) he suggested I go back to T4 only & see him again in 3 months !! - another £150 for about 10 mins !!

I do have to say that he is very helpful though & if I have any concerns I can call in between to talk & so far he has called back to help very quickly.

When I saw a Rheumatologist last year I was advised to take Vit D as it was low so I do take - but not quite sure how much I should take?

I do take my T4 either in am 1 hr before food or last thing at night - still get very achy & I just can't lose any weight which in turn doesn't help my feet/legs & back pain.

Hey no - still trying to stay positive - it's nearly 13/14 yrs now since I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia & 7 yrs for hypothyroidism - my willpower is not good when I get so frustrated that nothing seems to change so I tend to eat the wrong things then !! Also I am always being told that I should exercise but this is so difficult when my hip & right leg & feet hurt so much & I have to rest for ages afterwards - moan moan here we go again

Anyway it's good to talk & this helps a lot so thanks again for listening

Best wishes to you too

Chris
