should thyroid sufferers get help with heating bills and public leisure centre fees???

Some on here cant even get help with medications let alone heating and fitness bills.

Nice thought but its never going to happen. I think some have had leisure centre vouchers given them due to weight issues but heating bills is stretching the imagination a bit to far.lol.

Not all thyroid sufferers would even want it!

Some might prefer help with air conditioning!

We have to remember that some people are hypothyroid, some hyperthyroid, some have various forms of growth, and on and on...

But no-one is going to get either.

And fitness/activity "vouchers" are being thought about on the basis of need (i.e. if someone needs to be encouraged or enabled to do exercise) not on the diagnosis of a specific illness.

Hi Not exactly answering. However, i was always frozen, I thought it was my end stage heart disease, Hashi and kidney,liver disease as all cause cold. Then I discovered it was the first symptom of my severe diabetes ( I do not fit the profile ie thin etc ) so make sure by having a blood test.
