Do you mean nauseous?

If so, I'd suggest you consider your vitamin D status. I felt nauseous over quite a long time, and testing for, then taking, vitamin D seemed to help.

But this is simply a suggestion and you would be advised to check that it is nothing else.

Me too, but must admit I feel less these days - just odd days. I started taking Vit D too about 3 months ago. Not sure if connected.

i have a spray about 4 sprays per day - dont think ill ever feel wonderful :( just asked if my rt3 can be checked x

I think nausea can be a hypothyroid symptom, although I'm not sure on the cause. When I really exert myself (e.g. rushing to catch a train with baggage etc) it can make me feel nauseous, and when I told Dr S this he just nodded and mmmm'd and said that "that would make sense"... whatever that means! Perhaps you are undermedicated or not on the right medication? Also adrenals come to mind but I don't really know anything about those...

I have a lot of nausea, thought it was to do with constipation / stomach problems, never thought about any connection to vit d, just had vit d tested and feeling very nauseous just now so will be interested to see results.

Hi Take your pick, thyroid ( TSH, T4 and free T3 ), Liver LFT`s Us and E`s , kidney function.Gut ( scopes ) pancreas ( enzyme stool test, Faecal Elastase ) other pancreatic problems, specialist endoscopy in large teaching hospital by a specialist radiologist. Hepatitis ( autoimmune ). Gall bladder disease, usually shows on an ultra sound. These can all cause nausea , however unless actually vomiting then try just eating a dry biscuit when off. I hope that gives you some ideas.

Not sure if you know, to reply to a person ,you need to click on "reply to this" or, unless trawl they will not know.

Hi As I have all the things and a lot more hard to be sure which. However all can cause your problems, another one I forgot is Diverticulitis, more common if over 40! it can be a process of elimination. You really should start with a gastologist, I go to a top hospital but even so the so called best ones, I have never found any good. I have seen gastros for 40 years only the first one was any use! I found I had to keep telling them the tests I needed and then had to nag to get them. hepatologist totally different and superb. If you become yellow even a little, then it will be autoimmune Hepatitis, common really but useless to be diagnosed.I was really ill with it for 9 months ,very yellow, etc, seeing my then gastro weekly( sacked him )It took my new cardio a minute to diagnose without knowing my symptoms. This is not unusual Actuaually you could try just buying creon enzymes from Holland and Barret, same as on a script after a Faecal Elastine test for Pancreatic enzymes. it is very common, they are very safe as not a drug. Take 290 mins before food 1 or 2 depending on meal size. They take a few months to work at optimum. There is also a not very good test for Caeliac disease, autommune.Gp would do that can go with other autoimmune , if thyroid is then possible.

As you can see there are may reasons. , diabetes too but usually you keep falling asleep with that!. Just work through it all but may be at in the end, I have all these things and more diagnosed but still the same!!However, I still think it is important , just a fuss trying to find out. I lost over 2 stone and cannot put weight on. The funny thing is with years no matter what I did , I never lost weight!

Lecithin either granules or gels help to emulsify fats and if gall bladder issues are the cause, it is very effective and will ease the nausea. It also has other benefits.
