The young gp that looked younger than my nephew told me my ths levels are 3 and should be 1

What does this mean and is he right

Can you get a printout of your test results please and post them.

We could assume that he is referring to your TSH, in which case he may be right, but it would be wrong to make assumptions.

Dont make assumptions. My TSH is at last test 3.89, and the endo told me he wont treat till it is nearer to 10!!!

If it is your TSH and he means it should be under 1 - hang on to him.

hi, Also make sure you have T4 and Free T3 done for a proper evaluation. all about cost cutting!TSH on it`s own is fairly useless.Best wishes,
