Am sorry to say, I am sceptical. But that is from a position of ignorance - I am simply not convinced by what I have read.

Sorry I should have done a search. The video of the girl on the show would have been better if her blood results had been compared to the machine's findings I think.

Dannia, one of the classic diagnostic symptoms for hypothyroidism is a slow return on the ankle reflex test. Some modern doctors know about this, many do not. This Thyroflex test relies on the same kind of principal. I have come across a couple of doctors who thought quite highly of this test although I did not save the links. Dr. Konrad Kail N.D. did a lot of the research on this site. He was also the Medical Director at Western Research Laboratories, now RLC Labs, makers of Westhroid and Naturethroid. He passed in 2011, this is a short piece about him.

His views on iodine appear to be similiar to the Iodine Group. I have started to review the literature on the site but it will take awhile. I do not appreciate the line "Research has documented that 80% of the population has some level of thyroid dysfunction", but that is probably marketing stretching the point. I do not doubt that Dr. Kail was a dedicated and intelligent person, his research documents appear to be quite interesting. PR
