My antibodies are not working well doctor said to take 50 mg for the thyroid but I have many heart beets

When you use the term antibodies, which ones are you refering too? sorry

Natashav, I think you might have misunderstood something the doctor said to you as the first bit re antibodies "not working well" does not make sense. There are plenty of people here happy to help and advise but please let us have some more information so you can be helped. We need to know how long ago you were diagnosed, have there been any increases in the "50mg" which must be 50mcg of levothyroxine, and the items which were blood tested, the test result, plus the ranges, as these ranges differ from lab to lab.

You are entitled to a copy of your blood test. all you have to do is ask for a copy, this will enable you post all information accurately.

It might be that 50mcg is too much to start with and you might be better starting with 25mcg until you get used to it.

It is also possible that you have a deficiency in iron, vitamin B12 or folate that is making it difficult for you to tolerate thyroxine.
