well who'd of thought i!.
They found out my sister in law had an underactive thyroid when she was flooding all the time. She was 52 and had yet to go through the menopause, now they have sorted her thyroid out she has stopped having periods and is going through the menopause. I doubt that many realise the connection.
Hi Make sure you ask for a copy of the Gynae`s letter to your GP. Ask his secretary for a copy. It is some times a revelation and useful to ensure you have the correct treatment.Any further problems as to see an endo, as they are very useful on hormones and all round good doctors ( only if a good one though !) .
Best wishes for continued good health.
Jackie
