Unfortunately, we cannot recommend any particular doc, it very much depends on your own personal situation and what you are hoping to get out of seeing them.

For example, if you are looking for someone with a holistic approach, you may want to see a different doc than someone who is suffering from adrenal malfunction.

Please bear in mind that people would also rate 'good' docs differently based on personality, bedside manner and religious views etc.

I saw proff Besser at the London Clinic. He's old school but hugely experienced (ran the endo clinic at Barts) and has his own lab at London clinic ready to do every test under the sun. I found him to be a good listener and kind. However, he doesn't countenance NDT etc (thinks its wacky) and that may be the best route for you as it works brilliantly for lots of people.

Hi

I have been seeing a doctor in Hendon. I got his details from Louise at Thyroid UK. After years of feeling disappointed with my GP and suffering a lot I have been overwhelmed with the treatment and support from him. It is expensive but worth every penny if you can afford it.
