This dialogue between Mary Shomon and Dr Raymond Peat sheds light on some issues affecting hypothyroid health, including what aerobic exercise can do. Anyone want to buy a rebounder??

Only read a small section but makes for interesting information to wave under the nose of my blinkered Dr.
I was surprised by the exercise can influence things the wrong way. As was the hormones mentions. Defo going to read the whole paper throughly.
Interesting, especially about diet and excercise!
Wonder just how much my doctor knows about all that? or any doctor come to that!
Very interesting and will take some time to absorb but definitely worth the effort.
This makes a lot of sense and answers a lot of questions as to why I don't feel better for doing intense excersises ! And have high cholesterol and liver problems. I will print this off for myself for future reference with a new gp, as the gp I had seen for probably 10+ years insisted every time I saw him in the last 6 months that I am suffering from anxiety and depression ! The last visit because id had leg/foot pain for over 3 months to which he replied if I sort out this problem, I the patient will just go back with something else ! after research by the members on here - Epsom salts sorted out the problem with rest, no diagnoses tho from gp.my last visit to see him. I feel communication has broken down, he was ok when just getting bloods tested for thyroid and levels within range. The menopause has made an impact and levels have changed, I wont be seeing him again no point .
Keep up the good work !
Bit worried about the suggested foods we should be consuming --- as a vegan he suggests eating just about everything that I will not!!!
I have printed this off so i can read it later.
Very interesting, and thanks for posting. I now know why I am awake at night after a horrific dream, then worry for the rest of the night about trivial things! I also know why I crave milk and liver pate!
Thanks - will send the link to my GP.
