Questions and Answers and Responses

I can’t help noticing how many questions have been asked here, and answered, but then abandoned without any response from the original poster.

This leaves the question answerer wondering what was wrong with their answer. Did they misunderstand the question? Or was the answer unsuitable for some reason?

For myself, I am not expecting much, really just hoping that the time spent answering was not wholly wasted. Any form of response is better than none. Probably most of the volunteers (and that includes most of the Group Admins) here who have answered questions would appreciate knowing if their answers helped. Or not. With feedback, good and bad, we can try to improve our answers in future.

So if you ask a question, please come back with a response when you get an answer. It doesn’t have to be an individual response to each answer.

I agree if people take the time to answers questions then a response would be curteous

I hate to see unanswered posts and tend to chip in if only to say you're not alone with this worry, but I don't expect a response myself. I have found this site so helpful (thankyou so much) but I don't pretend to have any expertise in the matter.
