Sorry for posting so soon after the HRT discussion. I recently ordered 700 mgs of GABA from Pure Encapsulations because I'm tired of depending on Clonazepam (extremely addictive) to calm me down. I took one yesterday and today. It works. I also had a very restful sleep last night. Perhaps the first time is a charm. We shall see. Thank you.

I think that is prohibited in the UK and Europe. I just googled it to see what the reviews were for it. I am pleased it works for you btw

Hi Star13

Please keep us updated as to how you get on taking GABA. I also take Clonazepam for sleep although it doesn’t help my anxiety through the day. I’m trying to reduce it gradually and it would be great if taking GABA instead would work. I also have fibromyalgia which causes issues with sleep. Good luck.

I'm going to try to use Gaba instead of Clonazepam during the day. I'm not anxious until I get out of bed. 🤔

Same as me, as soon as I wake up it starts. I've been trying to reduce the Clonazepam as increased it to 1mg at night for 4 weeks and now I'm taking 0.75mg I'm having severe anxiety and panic attacks. Have also upped my Levo to 75mcg a day 4 weeks ago and an increase always gives me anxiety. I think I might try the Gaba you suggested. I've been taking L-theanine which is supposed to be relaxing and good for mood but haven't noticed any difference. Am also using Rescue Remedy. How much Clonazepam do you take and do you just take it during the day. My anxiety only started after starting Levothyroxine. Wishing you continued success with the Gaba.

Difficult to get off of them completely. I would need to disappear from society for awhile.

Yes, just reducing my dose has been really bad., worse anxiety than before.
