Hashi Surge

Despite having had one before, I think, and after quite a long period of feeling ok, strong pounding heartbeats, intermittent but bringing with them some agitation and anxiety, that I’m having a Hashi Surge.

My GP did not respond to my request on Tuesday and I have submitted another this morning. I was ‘looking forward’ to my repeat Medichecks early next week. Should I leave it? I was so keen to see if there was anything going on with my Frees and try to move forward on that via, perhaps a referral in to a private endo..

I’ve had a load of stress lately and really feel horrible.

Do you mean a Hashi's 'hyper' swing?

Yes, I think so. I don’t know, also, whether to not take supplements today?

You mean supplements as in b complex, vit D, etc. ? No reason why you shouldn't take them - unless you are planning to do a private test next week, in which case don't take any biotin.

And I think a test would be a good idea because without knowing your Free levels, you cannot possibly have any idea what's going on. :)

Thanks. I ceased biotin a few days ago, I mean B complex. I’ll stick with the rest plus folate and B12 sublingual

i would go ahead with medichecks asap , then you'll be able to see what is actually happening , otherwise it's just guesswork what to do.

and don't change dose until you get the results .
