You might find it worth having a read of two of my blogs.

Not sure Angela of your diagnosis or current thyroid hormone replacement situation.
Knowing nothing about you, a few brief reasons I would steer clear of that supplement and that company.
As we all know here, thyroid glandulars are kind of like NDT… but… they are the OTC and unregulated version.
In the US at least, I don’t think it’s even legal to sell anything with T4 and T3 without a prescription. So whatever it’s claiming I’m not even sure how it’s doing that in the US.
The other red flag is that it includes T2, which is always marketed as a weight loss supplement (and it actually doesn’t even work as one). But because thyroid controls metabolism… there is a huge market for healthy people who take thyroid hormones to lose weight. You can usually tell when there’s muscular body builders in the marketing that it’s probably not quite for us.
The other watch-out is that although it claims to have T4 and T3… it does not say how much. This too is completely unregulated.
And so, if you are actually hypothyroid and esp if autoimmune, and need thyroid hormone, best to start with regulated prescriptions which are approved, regulated and with a consistent amount of t4 and T3 in combination that you have been prescribed.
To take this would throw an unknown and variable amount of each of those into your body… PLUS unknown and random amounts of various vitamins and minerals that you should manage more deliberately.
Getting on the right dose of your thyroid hormone replacement will do everything that supplement claims, in the right way.
I haven’t read helvella ’s post, and I know UK folks have different opinions on over the counter glandular supplements.
So take my opinion with a grain of salt.
My blog links say much the same - at much greater length!
When T2 is sold separately, it is supplied in what seem to me ridiculously large doses.
These supplements, despite claiming T2 contents, would have tiny amounts.
There is a conflict in claims between those promoting these products and those promoting T2 products. But supplement sales people have never worried about making contradictory claims. Even in the same sentence.
I think they "get away" with things like this by never measuring T4 and T3 content. Seems that if they can say that they do not know it contains T4 and T3 - even while strongly implying it does contain them - then the FDA does not act.
I am always very weary of taking anything and don't intend to take it its only that some of the people on this forum seemed very positive about the product
I think people have mentioned this brand before regarding iron supplementation so the beef spleen, liver etc.... tbh I didn't know they did a thyroid version but the hormone content is going to be hit and miss
The product is mentioned in my World Desiccated Thyroid document as a glandular. Note that when I was compiling information, it said it contained quite an amount of beef liver so might be inadvisable for anyone who already has higher iron levels.
So that seems to equate to around 30mg iron per capsule?
Not sure! Did it say how much iron is in a dose?
30 milligrams sounds too much. I had a look here:
I found out the hard way about products like these not being equivalent to NDT. But it did lead me to this amazing group and I am so grateful because I was doing a lot wrong in relation to my thyroid meds, testing, supplements etc
