Thanks for your replies I tried adding some test results with ranges but they are screenshots from the NHS app and here it only accepts one shot per reply so its not possible as there’s several test which are out of range or borderline.
I’ve had lots of good advice which hopefully will help thanks everyone 🙏

I realise it’s a lot of information but it’s the tests which appear out of range so I wanted to put them all on in the hope someone can see a connection or solution to my current symptoms 🙏
My last test was done in the afternoon, not ideal I know but I had no choice. I didn’t take my medication that day so TSH came back as 5.12 and Free T4 was 21.3
Obviously no Ft3 result
Work on improving low vitamin levels and then get full thyroid and vitamin retesting in 2-3 months
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Vitamin D a bit low ….aim to maintain at least over 80nmol and between 100-125nmol may be better
Folate very low
Look at adding a daily vitamin B complex
Ferritin - false high result because of infection
Some of the other abnormal tests suggest anaemia
GP should retest full iron panel once infection is passed
The thyroid tests were late August during the suspected infection all the other results were from last week, several weeks after treatment for the suspected infection. I was told I needed to wait 2 months from August to retest thyroid which is being done this week. Unfortunately the only appointment again is in the afternoon.
I wasn’t sure about taking vitamin B as my vit B levels are high and out of range. I did suspect anemia but dr didn’t pick this up, or investigate further. The only thing they have flagged to discuss is the high platelet levels.
The only supplement I take is magnesium in the evening before bed in an attempt to help with sleep issues.
I’ve attached the link you sent regarding B 12, as I have hashimoto’s should I also supplement with iodine, selenium and molybdenum?
There’s so much information to take in, but as you advised I will get further tests and supplements.
Treatment of Paradoxical B12 Deficiency
It is essential that for successful treatment of Paradoxical B12 deficiency that the cause of the functional vitamin B2 deficiency be addressed including supplementation with sufficient vitamin B2, Iodine, Selenium and Molybdenum. Such treatment, though, is generally not performed, but it has immense consequences as far as treatment results, and explains why literature on treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency is rife with examples in which supplementation studies using inactive forms of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin) without the co-administration of the necessary B2/I/Se and Mo have been ineffective in treatment. (see Langan and Goodbred, 2017;
Igennus B complex popular option. Nice small tablets. Most people only find they need one per day. But a few people find it’s not high enough dose and may need separate methyl folate couple times a week
Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule) Thorne can be difficult to find at reasonable price, should be around £20-£25. iherb.com often have in stock. Or try ebay
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 5-7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)
Post discussing how biotin can affect test results
