It is quite possibly the specific make (formulation) of levothyroxine you are taking. Or the dose. But it could be unrelated to levothyroxine.
Has the make changed?
Has your dose changed? I am a bit confused about your previous post saying it had reduced to 175, and now you say it is 200!
Are you taking any ordinary over-the-counter antihistamine to try to address the issues? You might find one antihistamine works better than another.
helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. There is now a specific world desiccated thyroid document.
I highly recommend viewing on a computer screen, or a decent sized tablet, rather than a phone. Even I find it less than satisfactory trying to view them on my phone.
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines - UK
The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrixes for levothyroxine tablets, oral solutions and also liothyronine available in the UK. Includes injectables and descriptions of tablet markings which allow identification. Latest updates include all declared ingredients for all UK products and links to Patient Information Leaflets, Dictionary of Medicines and Devices (dm+d), etc. PLUS how to write prescriptions in Appendix F.

You should try B12 cream for your hands. I had very bad pompholix a few years ago, it started off as dermatitis. After doing some research I came across mention of B12 cream and tried it. It was nothing short of miraculous actually, within a few weeks it cleared up and has never returned.
Aww thankyou I will try that it drives me mad must have had 6 different creams and it just keeps coming back xx
You are welcome. I used to put rub it into my hands a few times a day and always made sure to use it before getting into bed. I actually recommended it to others at the time and they all had success.
Emollients that the doctor gave me were nothing short of useless.
