Conversion Issue

I recently wrote about my issues and still feeling pretty crappy. Would anyone be able to look at my labs and determine if I actually have a conversion issue.

the issue with these labs is that unfortunately I did take the levothyroxine before as I was not told otherwise.

As you took your levo before the blood draw, there is no way one can determine how well you convert from these numbers. One needs to know the exact - or as exact as one can get it - level of FT4 to be able to compare it to the FT3 level. Sorry.

No thanks so much, next time how long should I leave between it? The day after I took my last dose?

A gap of 24 hours is what we usually recommend.

you also need to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies for autoimmune thyroid disease (hashimoto’s) if not tested

Always test early morning, ideally before 9am, only drinking water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
