high blood pressure

I have hypothyroidism Hashimotos Last bloods a few months ago were all fine. Over the period of a few weeks I noticed slight shortness of breath on exertion. Took my BP earlier this week which usually sits normal shocked at the high readings in particular the diastolic

Readings range at lowest 133/96 higher range 178/104 diastolic more often sitting over 100

Just wondering if anyone would know if this could be related to some sort of thyroid issue. A scan a few years back reported nodules on my thyroid gland

Yes, it could be a thyroid issue - although nothing to do with the nodules. As you have Hashi's, you could be experiencing a slight 'hyper' swing, which could affect your blood pressure.

It will probably sort itself out, with time, but keep an eye on it just in case it's due to something else.
