I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism back in 2017 and have recently had more tests done.
GPs are investigating anaemia, B12 deficiency and various other possibilities, but I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice of my most recent test results.
Set 1
Oct 2023 (taking 125mcg levothyroxine at this point|)
I can see that my most recent TSH is below the average range.
Could anyone shed any light on whether these are moving in the right direction? Or explain why the range for my July 2024 TSH is 0.38-5.33 when the others were 0.2-4.5?
Thank you!

Ranges vary between labs depending on the equipment they are using. So either a different lab was used or they changed equipment and recalibrated. If you work out the percentage through range with a calculator you can still compare the results like that.

Possibilities for what? I'm assuming you don't feel well?
What was your last results for B12, ferritin, folate & D3?
We need OPTIMAL vitamin levels for our levo to work well.
The NHS has only tested TSH & FT4 but to see if we are converting we also need to see FT3 which the NHS rarely if ever does.
Suggest you get some private tests run to check if you are converting and any vitamin results you dont have so far.
See link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost. thyroiduk.org/testing/priva...
There is also a new company offering walk in& mail order blood tests in London, Kent, Sussex & Surrey areas. Check to see if there is a blood test company near you. onedaytests.com/products/ul...
Only do private tests on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid postal delays.
GPs are often concerned about low TSH results but its a myth that they cause problems.
