I am fairly new to this but have ordered tests before. The thing I have always wondered is whether I could order a few tests to use in the future while they are on special offer or do they have to be processed fairly soon after I receive them. Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know if it is acceptable to stockpile tests whilst on special offer?
Probably best to contact the company offering the tests. I'm sure I've done a minor stockpile with medichecks before. Can't remember the exact amount of time allowed before they expire so email them to check.
Pretty sure you get at least 3-4 months to use the test.
Oh, thank you. That is helpful.
I just checked on the Medichecks website and read this:
The test is valid for 120 days from the date that we process your order (the "Validity Period") - see clause 7 for further information about the dispatch of the kit. If you do not send a sample to the laboratory within the Validity Period your test will expire and you will not be entitled to a refund.
So it looks like you have 4 months to use any test that you buy.
Hi inthedoldrums,
The offers do come around quite regularly 😊
I also buy tests when they're on offer. I don't actually stock pile them but often don't use them straightaway. They'll send you 'reminders' asking if you need any help with your test.
Unfortunately I'm unable to complete the fingerprick ones so have to get a blood draw done as well but I go to a local pharmacy for that. Buying the tests when on offer makes things a bit easier cost wise for me as I'm on a low income.
I ended up wasting a test from Medichecks, when I was unable to go through a blood draw as I was busy nursing my terminally ill mother, they gave me an extra couple of weeks, but I didn’t have time to arrange it, so it was a waste of money. I wouldn’t stock pile them personally for this very reason, they often have discounts, so just get what you will realistically need/use over the next couple of months.
Yes asked them for the use by date which was almost six months. So ask before you buy? Hope this helps
