Hi guys,

Looks like everyone was right on here in thinking that my TSH last time was so low due to a flare-up. These are the current numbers since alternating between 75mcg & 100mcg of levo daily:

Free T4: 12.11 [10.4 - 19.4]

TSH: 3.66 [0.55 - 4.78]

Free T3: 4.89 [2.6 - 7.1]

T3: 1.73 [0.6 - 1.81]

T4: 114.7 [59 - 154]

Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies: > 1,300 [<60]

Thyroglobulin Antibody: 2.1 [4.4 IU/mL.]

Does this suggest I should go back up to 100mcg/daily?

The private GP i see for this has asked if I would like a referral to an endocrinologist. Would this be a good idea?

Should I ask her to increase my levo and refer me, or should I stick to my current levo and let an endo change it?

Theres not much to be gained by seeing an Endo unless you need T3 which looking at your last results you don't. probably best to stick with the GP.

Why not go back up by 12.5mcgs. It can make all the difference and better to go in small amounts when close to being optimally replaced.

How are your vitamins looking?

What supplements do you take?

I’ll mention it to the GP.

Haven’t done vitamins in a while so could do with doing them again. Here’s what they were 6 months ago:

Vitamin B12 - 322 pg/ml [193 - 982]

Ferritin - 36.8 ng/ml [22 - 322]

Vitamin D - 90.83 nmol/l [75 - 250]

I supplement vitamin D using the spray with K2, supplement B12 and also have a 5mg iron spray daily.

Time to retest and include folate this time.
