Morning dip

Is this a thing or just me? Waking up with all the ‘old’ ( ie, pré-levo meds) feelings of - can only describe poorly - of something like rage and general p***ed-offness? It disperses after meds or just generally moving around, so I can’t say it’s the taking of the wee white pills that make the difference. Doesn’t happen every morning but enough. Or maybe I’m just a ragey,, pis**d off person who needn’t look at being hypothyroid for the reasons, 🤣.

Calceolaria,

I think it's hormone imbalance.

I've read of many members suffering extreme rage, or depression or feeling 'off', and I cried every day for a year after starting T3 and didn't know why 🤷‍♀️.

If I had reasonable thyroid hormone levels and nutrients, I would be looking at getting sex hormone levels tested. All hormones work together and have enormous influence on our emotional and mental wellbeing.

In the end we get p***** off of feeling p****ed off!! 😬

Thank you. I’m 75 so I expect my oestrogen etc is minimal. But you’ve got me thinking - I do use prescribed ovestin cream to help with UTIs.

All you have mentioned but also a sensation of dread. The level does vary but it seems always to be there in some form.

I changed to taking my levo at night (other things have benefited but not that mental state on waking.
