No indication of hyperthyroidism in these results....FT3 would be well over range....in any case if one is hypothyroid it is almost impossible to become hyperthyroid.
Gap between last dose of T3 and test should be 12 hrs, not 24hrs, so your FT3 may be slightly lower after that 24hr gap.
Gap is 24 hrs for FT4 dose to test
TSH, once medicated, especially with T3, is not a relible marker so don't be concerned about that result
FT3 followed by FT4 are the most important results
T3 lowers both TSH and FT4
FT4 is 63.64% through ref range
FT3 is 43.24% ditto. (24hr dose/ testing gap has likely reduced this so possibly a bit higher!)
We aim to have both Frees roughly approaching 75% through the respective ref ranges.
FT3 may still be a tad low....but we are all different.
If you feel well....good
If not test again....make a list of symptoms
In either case - to double check - best to test again after 6 weeks following correct timing protocol
Have you optimised essential nutrients ( follows) to support thyroid function/ conversion?
Test - TSH, FT4, FT3, vit D, vit B12, folate, ferritin and thyroid antibodies TPO and Tg
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test
Low iron/ferritin extremely common after having a baby
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 tested
Also both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested at least once to see if your hypothyroidism is autoimmune
Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum
Suggest you retest including vitamin levels and test with last 5mcg dose T3 at 8-12 hours before test
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
