Have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels tested
You have only just started on levothyroxine
It’s common to feel worse before starting to improve
Retest thyroid levels 6-8 weeks after each dose increase
test early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
d is 16. out of 80 is low .b12 is 346 feritin is always low as i have thalassimia trait
Vitamin D …..Is that 16ng/ml
Presumably you are now supplementing
How much are you taking daily
Are you supplementing B12
What about folate
d is 16ml i am not on any vitamins yet my dr said iam ok for now i got 2.000 vit d i will start soon b12 i have 1000mg chewable i take twice a week i stoped and had blood test i will start again tky
B12 initially likely to need 2000mg or 3000mg per day or more

With serum B12 result below 500, (Or active B12 below 70) recommended to be taking a separate B12 supplement
A week later add a separate vitamin B Complex
Then once your serum B12 is over 500 (or Active B12 level has reached 70), you may be able to reduce then stop the B12 and just carry on with the B Complex.
If Vegetarian or vegan likely to need ongoing separate B12 few times a week

B12 range in U.K. is too wide
Interesting that in this research B12 below 400 is considered inadequate

Low folate
supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid)
This can help keep all B vitamins in balance and will help improve B12 levels too

Many Hashimoto’s patients have MTHFR gene variation and can have trouble processing folic acid.

B vitamins best taken after breakfast
Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule)
Thorne currently difficult to find at reasonable price, should be around £20-£25. iherb.com often have in stock. Or try ebay
Igennus B complex popular option too. Nice small tablets. Most people only find they need one per day. But a few people find it’s not high enough dose

IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12

Can I ask what sort of pains and which levo you are on? Been suffering with with sholuder, neck and arm pain for a couple of years now. Got a bit better when I reduced levo, but too scared to reduce it anymore.
I think it is very difficult finding out what is causing joint pain and muscle cramps. Both are a symptom of hypothyroidism, so in my case I tried raising my dose to hopefully help the muscle cramps but it did the reverse, I felt much worse. I stayed on the higher dose for a while thinking my body is just adjusting but it never did. I then dropped the dose right down and the muscle cramps went away and haven't come back, I believe I must be sensitive to the levothyroxine. Now have no muscle cramps but feel far more tired. Joints and cramps were much better when I took Metavive but can't take a high enough dose as they give me headaches. Seems a juggling act of finding what is right for your body. Lots of people get the joint pain and cramps because they need higher doses of thyroid medication, just wanted to say that sometimes (confusingly) it isn't always the case.
