I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos for nearly 1 year now. All seemed to be sorting itself out and have been feeling better for the last few months! But since Saturday I have been feeling awful again I’m tired and drained. I don’t have a cold or anything so not sure if it’s my meds maybe need adjusting or lacking in a certain vitamin.
My question is how long should I leave it before going to doctors?

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
You need FULL thyroid and vitamin testing
What were most recent Thyroid and vitamin results
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Is your hypothyroidism autoimmune
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
It's hard to know if it's anything to do with MPN . better to make an appointment if you feel really awful and not wait. When did you have last bloods done? Do you take any supplements ?
yes always the same brand of levothyroxine given. Yes my hypothyroidism is autoimmune 😢. My last blood tests were 3 months ago where they changed my 100mg to 75mg as TSH level was 0.05. That’s all they test maybe I should go via medichecks. All vitamin levels were also fine. I just take a multivitamin. I’m next due a test in April but will contact GP tomoz to try get sooner. Thanks both x
If you were doing well on 100mcg and they reduced your meds to 75mcg off the back of a lowered TSH then it's most likely that you need to go back to 100 and are maybe hypo again? Using TSH as a metric to dose is utterly pointless- you need to be looking at your FT4 and more importantly your FT3. If your doctor doesn't test these then do a medichecks thyroid panel or equivalent.
