Hi. Is there any difference please between liothyronine tablets and hard capsule 10 micrograms?

Hi was told that short supply of liothyronine tablets - usually have morningside 10 micrograms. Today I was given Roma 10 micrograms hard capsules. Is there any difference please?

It is like any change of brand - it may suit you or it may not. Some folks get on fine with roma and others don't.

If you don't initially get on with the Roma, try tipping the contents out (see the Patient Information Leaflet).

20mcg tablets are far far cheaper

Though Morningside 20mcg have also been difficult to get recently

Most members get 20mcg and cut in half or 1/4

So pharmacies can switch what the endo has put on my prescription if they cant get it. They supplied half morningside 10s and half roama capsules 10s?

They might have ran out of one brand and gave you the rest in the other brand.
