HiI have on going palpitations. They are partly what drove me to gp in 2019 when I was diagnosed. They are better than they were. I take 100/15. I have found They are less when I take my t3 all in one go. I am about to start trial of hrt. (I have a second post). The doctor sent me for an ECG. This came back showing "extra beats". They are now triggered by stress/emotion and after exercise. I've done lots to try and manage stress levels but I have a demanding full time job. I am willing to wait till after my 3 month trial of hrt as I know that being perimenopausal can be a trigger for palpitations. My question is, is it dangerous to leave this in the long term? Should I push to be seen at cardiology? My heart rate is really high when I exercise but resting heart rate is about 57 bpm.
Thanks in advance.

BiscuitBaby, all I can say here is I have been suffering similar, since attempting T3. I have put up a recent post about getting beta blocker advice from other hypo users. I am not suggesting that you need think about this course of action. What I am thinking is get checked out. Find out as much as you can about what’s going on in your body. I agree starting hormone therapy is probably not the best time to look at the palpitations (fingers crossed it helps though) but keep it in mind if the extra beats and palps thing goes on. I have found it’s us who need to keep on top of these things. The medics do not bring them up, monitor them or anything and they are very unpleasant symptoms. You brave girl finding out the palps are better when you take all your T3 at once. I have been too cowardly! Good luck.
Thanks arTisapple. I have already discovered that I need to push to get what I need! I was never overly concerned about the palpitations until the Dr said it was extra beats. She said nothing about it! I then went to my old reliable friend Dr Google who told me lots of alarming things about strokes and all sorts! So it's kind of left me a wee bit worried. Because I had palpitations from when I was diagnosed it's hard to determine what's going on. You could say I'm more stupid than brave....taking 15mcg t3 in one go might have backfired but lucky for me it didn't! I hate dealing with doctors and I hate that they all minimise the impact low thyroid hormones have on our physiology! Thanks for your reply! A problem shared is a problem halved! 😀
