medication or bug?!

I’ve been feeling like I’m getting a dry chesty cough all week. Comes n goes.

Kind of like a cough developing or the tail end of a cough, but isn’t coming to anything.

I feel fine otherwise, a bit more tired than usual but that’s it.

I posted recently about suddenly going very “over”, and reduced until I felt better. That was a month ago.

I’ve felt absolutely fine until now. If I’ve ever been low before, I’ve felt pretty unwell, but this is different.

So my question is could it be that I’m a bit low, or do we think there’s a bug around and it’ll pass? 😂 Just asking in case this has happened to anyone else and it’s an obvious fix.

I do have a blood test to do, and I’ll send it away on Monday, but for the moment this is driving me nuts. Tbh I’m not sure quite what the bloods test will tell me as I was well on the same dose for ages, then suddenly went “over”, and have reduced and feel fine (apart from this chesty feeling) - so I don’t really have a point of reference anyway.

Thanks.

Och well I know!

I just wondered if it was a common symptom anyone else had noticed if they had dropped their dose down.

I realise without bloods etc, it’s almost impossible to tell but no harm in asking eh?

I was giving it a few days to tune into something but it’s not happened and now it’s just anoying 😂

Like Lalatoot I’d say do the blood test before making any medication changes, as it’s so difficult to say if your coughs and increased tiredness are thyroid related or just a bug. Do rest as much as possible & share blood results with us as soon as you get them.

I’ve had the chesty cough thing. Have come to the conclusion it is to do with low stomach acid. Which most of us have. Took me ages to work this out.
