symptomatic bm’s

Hi, I was diagnosed with secondary hypoadrenalism in 2018 by an endo. The ACTH was borderline and there was a flat response to the glucagon test.

In the same year I paid for a saliva test which showed the level of cortisol to be ok. So I only have to take oral hydrocortisone if I’m having surgery, in stressful situations or injury.

This morning I felt all the symptoms of being hypoglycemic. I’m not diabetic. I’ve had episodes of this in the past. Before I had breakfast my bm was 4.1.mmols I had the same symptoms again at midday. My bm prior to lunch was 4.5mmols. Are these too low? Do you think my adrenal condition is worsening? Or is it just a flare up?

I’d appreciate your advice.

if BM means blood glucose then I don’t think those results are too low. The range I use is anything above 3.9 is fine. Anything between 3.2 and 3.9 is to be aware of and below 3.2 is a worry. I am not diabetic but am taking these ranges from the Libre link continuous glucose monitor and articles that I read while wearing it.
