Forgot to take Levo

Hi, I take my 100mcg of Levo at 10pm and I forgot last night. It’s now 9am shall I take it now or miss it and continue tonight?

I did search prior and couldn’t find an answer

It’s a storage hormone ……fine to take yesterday dose now and today’s dose later

When testing thyroid levels

Test early morning ideally before 9am, only drink water between waking and test ….and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

If you normally take levothyroxine at bedtime/in night ...adjust timings as follows prior to blood test

If testing Monday morning, delay Saturday evening dose levothyroxine until Sunday morning. Delay Sunday evening dose levothyroxine until after blood test on Monday morning. Take Monday evening dose levothyroxine as per normal
