This is my blood test results. I started taking Carbimazole 20 mg in May. Any advice please?

TSH often remains suppressed many weeks/months after thyroid levels drop

FT4: 15.5 pmol/l (Range 11.1 - 22)

Ft4 is now only 40.37% through range

You need vitamin D, folate, B12 tested too

Full iron panel test including ferritin

Low MCHC suggests anaemia

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
