1) Nurse who took my bloods talked to me about symptoms and clearly knew what hypothyroid is!

2) Dr (newish) clearly also knew her stuff and offered to get T3/T4 tested before we make dosing decisions!

3) The lab actually rested T3 &T4!

We'll see what happens next..

can you tell us where you are based so we can all go there too….. on the other hand she may well be rather swamped! I’m more surprised the Lab complied….. has there been something new we don’t know about yet?

I'm in Keswick, Lake District. One Dr surgery for miles (and the next nearest one in Cockermouth has got some kind of scandal going on, so definitely no moving surgeries round here). We have just had a clump of Drs and Nurses hitting retirement, and a change is as good as a rest, but that doesn't explain the lab doing the requested tests.There has been more, but I ll leave it at that for now.

(And in case anyone is wondering, there is NO housing here to move to 😆)
