Tummy bloat
Welcome to the group.
It's more likely you don;t have enough levothyroxine thats making your tummy bloat, that or intolerance of gluten or dairy.
Do you have any thyroid results to share with us?
Oh right OK. No my GP never shares levels. I have asked to be referred back to the thyroid clinic, as it is really getting me down.
As a thyroid patient it pays to get a little knowledgable about your condition, also to ask for printed copies of your results from reception at the GP's. You are legally entitled to that.
GP's often just give us enough Levo to get our results within the normal range. Most times that will leave us with remaining symptoms and we may have to push them for a dose increase that will still keep our numbers within the normal range. So go get your latest results and post them here.
Definitely worth trialling a gluten free diet.
You are legally entitled to printed copies of your blood test results and ranges.
The best way to get access to current and historic blood test results is to register for online access to your medical record and blood test results
UK GP practices are supposed to offer everyone online access for blood test results. Ring and ask if this is available and apply to do so if possible, if it is you may need "enhanced access" to see blood results.

In reality many GP surgeries do not have blood test results online yet
Alternatively ring receptionist and request printed copies of results. Allow couple of days and then go and pick up.
Important to see exactly what has been tested and equally important what hasn’t been tested yet
Come back with new post once you get copies of results
Sounds like GP dosing by TSH which is completely incorrect
Welcome to the forum Candyben
How long have you been taking Levo?
How much?
What brand?
I've been taking Levo for 48 years and it hasn't made my tummy bloat, but that doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.
It could be a gut problem or intolelrance as Jaydee mentions. A good place to start could be cutting out gluten (completely) to see if that makes a difference.
