How to tag someone in a post

This forum is so busy. How do I tag someone in a post? Thanks 🤗

You put @ in front of their user name - no space - then a drop down list of suggestions comes up. Highlight the member you want to tag, it will turn blue, click on it. It should add the member's name to your post in blue, like this

There has to be as long as the member's name is typed as mentioned , eg @ Paula6 but with no space, check the example linked to.

Are clicking onto @seasidesusie from the dropdown list when it has a blue bar right across it? You then have to check that the name has turned blue in your message. It shows you exactly how to do it in that little video I linked to.

NWA6 On my screen it's more a pop UP list, and if where I'm typing is quite low down on the screen I miss the pop up box, in effect it's hidden from view (but nevertheless there). Try scrolling down the screen once you've typed a bit of the @name

Yes - the list appears at the BOTTOM of the message box you are typing into.

If that is off-screen, all bets are off as to whether you will see it or not.

The video I linked to shows you exactly how to do it. If you can't see a drop down list like in the video, beneath the message box you are typing into, then you will have to scroll down until the list appears on your screen. This is how it works on a PC, if you are on any other device then I don't know what it looks like.
