I've been taking Levo for many years, but after brand-swapping by my local pharmacy over the past couple of years I pinpointed a sensitivity to Mannitol. It makes me really unwell.
My dose is 75mcg and I'm having difficulty identifying and getting a mannitol-free levothyroxine at that dose. Some brands even have mannitol at some doses and not at others...
Can anyone help with identifying brands that will be mannitol-free at that dose (or I could combine a 50+25?) and where I can secure a regular supply? "Out of stock" is cropping up online.
I'm happy to pay as I'm having no luck with NHS on this.
Thank you,
Lorraine

So just avoid Teva (and Northstar 25mcg dose tablets which are made by Teva). To achieve 75mcg you could take one and a half 50mcg tablets or alternate 100/50mcg of a brand not containing mannitol.
