B12 and folate still too low
Are you taking separate B12 and daily vitamin B complex?
You need full iron panel test too

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
Was test done early morning and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid)

Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule)
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

Hi Slowdragon
I just read through the B12 crash course and I'm a bit confused. I probably have all the symptoms of deficiency tbh. But my ferritin levels are high and it doesn't say anything about high levels..only low. Mine ave been slowly creeping up past 2 years. Only knew of this when I had Medichecks test full thyroid. Could you advise please? I really appreciate your responses. Thank you so
That’s extremely common and totally expected that ferritin increases now you are post menopause
Male ferritin range is 15-400
Women post menopause become closer to male range
High ferritin can be linked to inflammation of Hashimoto’s
So it’s important to do full iron panel every few years to check that iron isn’t too low (or too high)
High ferritin due to inflammation can mask low iron
Currently your iron looks low 12.6 (5-35)
