Taking Ashwaghanda and Levothyroxine
I personally would wait 6-8 weeks until after the Levothyroxine increase recommended in your last post by greygoose before making any supplement changes. I find that if I change more than one thing at once, it is difficult to work out which is beneficial.
i think it is contraindicated with thyroid problems. It might be worth researching carefully.
I googled for Ashwagandha and found this link from Lloyds Pharmacy

Extract from this page "Because ashwagandha isn’t considered a medical treatment by the NHS, not much is known about its side effects or long-term risks. It’s thought to be safe for most people to take, but some guidance advises that it shouldn’t be taken by pregnant women, or by people with autoimmune conditions. Checking with your GP or pharmacist first will ensure you can take it safely."
As thyroid problems are usually autoimmune, then it's not recommended.
Why do you want to take Ashwagandha? It can lower cortisol levels so it's best to know where your cortisol levels stand before taking it.
you would need to test cortisol levels FIRST

No point testing until 2-3 months after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine
Didn’t know this, thanks to everyone for posting and replying, I drink a pukka tea with Ashwaganda in it. Had absolutely no idea. I will have to read up 🦋💚💚
