I don't think I've posted this before, but if so, it certainly rewards reading. I estimate its publication at 2016. There isn't a dioi: number but I think chasing up Dorothy Pugh herself on Safari will show it.

Hypothyroidism Treatment Policy in the U.S.: A Literature Review

Dorothy Pugh

I am a retired scientific programmer/analyst, having worked mainly in the pre-clinical and clinical trials fields. I co-authored several peer-reviewed publications, mainly about the pharmacokinetics of drugs; I was also one of two authors on the two New Drug Applications associated with Zyban. I was the senior author of several proceedings papers, most notably one about a new axis-scaling algorithm that allowed the production of graphs of different variables in a single run. I have a B.A. from what is now New College of Florida, and an M.A. from the University of Chicago, both in English Literature. I also completed 39 credit hours toward an M.S. in industrial engineering, which included two graduate-level statistics courses and another course (simulation) which required those courses.

It is an odd link. I thought I had to download it using Google or Facebook, but as I scrolled down I realised the paper was there in its entirety, but was showing after references to other papers.

It's an extraordinarily long article, and has some text in red and some in green - so an odd paper...

It is copyright Dorothy E. Pugh 2013 - 2015

Thank you diogenes.

The paper is available as a PDF here:

I think you have to create an account (free but look after your identity when you do so) before downloading it.

I think you have to create an account (free but look after your identity when you do so) before downloading it.

I was asked to allow access to my email contacts when I tried to download the paper, so I backed out without giving any details. I was pleased to discover I could read it without doing that.

I certainly wouldn't let anything have that access! And I used an email address which is unique for that purpose.
