This was news for me, didn't know about the link between proteinuria (protein in the urine) and hypothyroidism.
Has anyone who has had unresolved symptoms despite medication ever had your urine tested?

Have had protein in urine some years ago, but not had regular testing of this for many years. Suspect they know about it but not what to do!
Me too, on my most recent urine test and the one sent to me via the post three months ago, (which showed as 'slightly abnormal when I performed the test) now we have a swing into action from my GP's nurses. I have a further blood test, a further wee test and a reminder that my smear test is 'overdue' - I was never told it was due 🙄 Yet more buffoonery... plus ça change.
Any excuse to blame us for not keeping appointments and not knowing what they are doing! Now you have something to show them and throw the blame back where it belongs.
If I want an adult response, I'll have to take my (still @ 68) busy hubby with me. I will otherwise be subject to some of my GP's eye-rolling, patronising nonsense. I should be performing eye rolls to him with his clueless misogynistic thyroid management. Yet here we are, rowing against the tide whilst our health recedes further from our sight. I'm so angry right now. Signing out because I'm soooo ticked orf and it doesn't do me any good to find others suffering, much more than myself, because of 'our' NHS. That brainless woman hater takes home six figures and I can't even opt out of paying the donkey. Sometimes I wonder how he looked when one of his (male) patients actually died in his consulting rooms because of poor treatment. 👿
Great find @Fabjellybean xx
That was interesting. Poor lady had a lot going on.
