Levo 75mcg, weight keeps piling on

Over the last 2 weeks i’ve been taking Iron and VitD supplements and I feel a lot more energetic than before. However my weight is increasing more than ever. My last results show that i have a conversion problem. I wanted to wait a little bit with asking for T3. But the weight gain makes me feel insecure. I don’t really have a question, I just want to know if people have similar experiences.

T3 won't necessarily help you loose weight. I've been as high as 60mcg T3 recently and I'm fatter than I have ever been. Full of water weight and fat and looking like a whale out of water. I'd ask for an increase in Levo first. 75mcg isn't a high dose by any means.

I’m sorry to hear that :(

Hi Sofie007, there is nothing worse than feeling you have no control over this. I never put on masses - 2 stone but for 15 years couldn't shift it. I finally found Lighterlife made the weight fall off and fast. Which your mindset needs after years of fighting against your thyroid. I've kept it off for a year. Never managed this before. Most of the stuff is horrible accept the chocolate bars (all based on a high protein/keto diet) . Basically you eat 4 bars a day. Do it for at least 4/5 days to cause ketosis (fat burn) then carry on with normal eating but miss out white flour and sugar products. This sounds hard but the ketosis caused by the high protein bars kills sugar cravings. You can do it for 6 weeks but I didn't have the oomph to carry that on. Not with family life either. I try to stick to these principles but if I feel the pounds going on again I do a couple of days with the bars and it puts me back on the right mind set. They have all the added vits and minerals and all based on pea proteins etc. Surprisingly you won't feel starving on them and if you just tell yourself it's 5 days it's do-able. Good for reversing diabetes too.

Hey dayoff, thanks for the reply. I’m not a fan of these kind of diet foods, but it’s reassuring to know they helped you and that there are options.

Going gluten and dairy free, and upping my supplements (from initially zero) seems to have finally triggered some metabolism improvements for me. I’m not talking dramatic weight loss, just the clothes I’d bought next size up are finally not straining at the zip 😂 it’s taken ages and progress is slow. But there is hope 🦋💚🦋

Thanks! Yes going glutenfree and lots of exercise helped me in the past before i was diagnosed. I will give it another try now that i feel more energy.
