can you tell me what these results mean ? They are my daughter’s results and she’s been advised to reduce her dose from 125 mcg per day to 5 days x 125 mcg and 2 days 100 mcg.
Serum free T4 level 17.4pm ol/L (11.2-20.2pm ol/L
TSH 0.93mu/L (0.27-4..2mu/L)
Thank you

They mean she has a very ignorant doctor. There is absolutely no reason to reduce her dose unless she feels over-medicated - which would be surprising. Both her TSH and FT4 are well within range, so I cannot imagine what her doctor is thinking. She should question his motives very closely and remind him that she is only over-medicated if her FT3 is well over-range. And, as they don't even test that...
In fact, I would say those results suggest under-medication, because her FT4 is only 68.82% through the range, and most hypos need it higher than that. She needs an increase in dose, not a reduction.
