Blood test tomorrow - hyperthyroid

Getting blood test tomorrow at 8.30 - just wondering do I still take my carb before or wait till after. I usually take it at about 7.30.

I take mine same time. Before draw is fine & it’s always best to take consistently as possible.

With thyroid replacement taking before draw can reflect a high but

Carbimazole doesn’t have an immediate effect in same way. It lowers production over time so the effects aren’t evident for weeks later.
