Is it possible that your heart rate returns to normal before treatment starts? My T3 was 28, 30th May. My pulse seems to have almost returned to normal and I am no longer conscious of racing or palpitations. The biggest bother is being warmer than normal and a bit fidgety and I continue to lose body fat and muscle tone. I almost feel like apart from my weight - everything’s settled down.

Heart rate no longer racing
I had the same lowering of rapid pulse when I took T3.
On levo my pulse could reach more than 144 (in the middle of the night) and cardiologist was going to put an implant in my heart to 'see what was going on'. Just then T3 was prescribed and I've had no problems since as heartbeat is normal on T3 only.
This is so interesting. Most doctors think a rapids pulse is due to T3 being too high. I have been taking NDT for some years now with no issues. Recently, my pulse rate has started to race now and then ( over 100 for up to 15 minutes) for no reason. I made an appointment with a new doctor and had new bloodwork done. It turns out my T3 is below range...never has been before. I see the new doctor Thurs. Hopefully she will realize I need an increase in NDT.
