How do I locate my post?

Click on your username, his takes you to your profile page where you will find POSTS and REPLIES.

POSTS are the threads you started yourself.

REPLIES are all posts you've made in reply to others as well as in your own threads.

Morning, I clicked on my name but Im not seeing my posts.

For some of us it takes us to 'Update Profile', then you need to click on 'View my Profile'. Then you can see Posts or Replies or Connections

No idea why they've made it difficult to find!

If you click on your user name where you have written a post, ie as in your opening post here or any of your replies, this is what you should see - I have just taken a screenshot of what I see by clicking on your name. You will see your name Batty1 on the left and beneath that is your Bio. To the right you will see

POSTS ...... REPLIES ..... CONNECTIONS

If POSTS is underlined in green (as shown in the image) you will see all posts that you have made to start a new thread. If you click on REPLIES it shows all replies you have made to anyone else's posts.

I am on a PC, I don't know if it's different on another device.

Are you not on a PC then, that's the only reason I can think of why you're not seeing the same as me, I use a PC.

That must be it then, I have no idea how the site works on a phone but lots of websites show something different on a phone from what's shown on a PC.

Further testing ... (I'm on a Mac PC by the way)

SeasideSusie is telling you to click on your user name where you have written a post. This works just the same on my Mac as Susie says.

But... if you are not looking at your own post, then the only place that I can see to click is my avatar top right of my screen where it has the circular avatar and 'More'. Click there and you get a pull down menu starting with 'Update Profile'. choose that and it takes you to the Update Profile screen, where you can choose the box to 'View my profile".

So - I think the difference is where you are clicking.

Also - you can get different results on different systems. Programmers should test the main ones, but it's easy to miss some of them and there are so many these days.

I haven't tried this on my iphone or my ipad.

I clicked on my name but the only post I see is the current post by everyone not mine. Im on Iphone so maybe its a little wonky

That’s exactly what I was looking for. Why can’t I see it by clicking on my name? I think I wasn’t clicking hard enough I had to push like 4 times and it finally popped up…. Thanks

On my iPhone (12 Pro), I can see my icon at the top right corner.

Touch that and it goes to a menu list which starts with [ Update profile ].

Touch [ Update profile ] and you are in your profile.

At top right, just below your icon, it says [ View my profile ]

Touch [ View my profile ] and you should see your list of posts, etc.

Some places you can see your icon or name do not allow you to touch them. Like where you see your icon and name when you are in the process of replying to someone.

On my iphone I think it may be confusing that it says 'More' under my icon/avatar but doesn't give my name.

I understand what you mean but looks like they assume you know you are you!

And there really aren't many other feasible meanings for it.

In which case, I think the only things you can click on (touch) are the actual posts, the poster's name (which takes you to their profile) and the forum name (which takes you to the lists of posts.

But once you have reached any HU page, you should have your icon (and More) in the top right corner.

For some reason I tried to add actual photo of what I see when I click on my name/Pic ….. ugh it keeps disappearing.

I can't get to my profile page by clicking on my avatar either!

What I have been doing is clicking on 'My hub' --> 'ThyroidUK' --> Members --> radd.

Yesterday I replied to another poster who replied back to me but that post has disappeared and isn't even under my replies in my profile 🤷‍♀️. I also keep getting logged out and after typing a reply the reply button greys out and I can't post it.

You can report to HU. I usually find these issues tend to resolve themselves eventually.

I understand this but when I click on my name it takes me to update my profile and find people near me page not my actual posts and doesn’t give me a way to get to this info.

Interesting. I go directly to my About page when i do that.

Did you try helvella's instructions? Can you see the "view my profile" button?

Update profile gives me just that profile stuff and no way to get to my post … its crazy I use to be able to do it.

Yes, finally the magoo in me saw “view profile” button takes me to my stuff.
