I was recently prescribed Thybon Henning 20 mcg tablets, taking a dose of 80mcg per day. I’ve been feeling as well as I have on a long time, only all of a sudden the price of the medication has shot right up.
Through my usual supplier Customized 4 U, the price has give from £50 per 100 to almost £150. I can get it via Chemist 4U for £86 per 100, but that’s still a lot more than I was paying previously.
Does anyone know of any alternative options in terms of supply?
Thanks!

Hi, sorry I can't answer your question, but I came across your post, and for interest, what is Thybon Henning?
Check the ThyroidUK list of pharmacies. I've been ringing round them.
I will send you private message, as one pharmacy told me they wouldn't quote until they had seen a copy of my prescription - as they wanted to be sure that I was a genuine purchaser and not just someone spying to check prices from other pharmacies. (There's a word for it, but I can't remember it at present). That's life!
Not sure how to check if this post is private to the forum or open to everyone.
Further comment to above post. One pharmacy who quoted for me don't seem to take credit cards. They ask you to give them your bank details so that they can set up a direct debit - even if it's only for 1 purchase.
Sorry, I don't hand out my bank details like that, so they don't get my custom.
