Hi,
I wondered if anyone could message me where I can safely source T3 without a prescription? Thank you
Hi,
I wondered if anyone could message me where I can safely source T3 without a prescription? Thank you
Your last post 9 months ago
You were only on 50mcg levothyroxine
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking …..presumably you have had several increases since last post?
Always test thyroid levels early morning, ideally before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
What are your most recent TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 results
ESSENTIAL that you know levels before adding T3
Before considering adding T3 you also need OPTIMAL vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
When were these last tested
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine or T3
thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally before 9am last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
On T3 day before test split daily dose into 3 smaller doses, spread through the day at approx 8 hour intervals, taking last 1/3rd of daily dose 8-12 hours before test
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
