MRI for brainfog.: Has anyone had an MRI in... - Thyroid UK
MRI for brainfog.
Brain fog and memory often improve on strictly gluten free diet
Have you had coeliac blood test done yet
Should have been tested for coeliac at confirmation of Hashimoto’s
Only 5% of Hashimoto’s patients are coeliac, but a further 80% find strictly gluten free diet helps or is essential
Are you on strictly gluten free diet
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking and how long on this dose
Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription
Always test thyroid levels as early as possible in morning, ideally before 9am, and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

Yes, I had an MRI years ago, to rule out Hashimoto's encephalopathy en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashi...
Thankfully they found nothing abnormal. Hopefully that will be the same for you.
Many, many medics have no understanding at all about how thyroid hormone imbalance affects the mind.
yeah they are mostly worried because when i first got tested my TSH was so high they couldn't read it im trying to find the root cause but its difficult all medication has done is regulate my body temperature. they trialed me on T3 but i was burning up, i hear an EEG is better for ecephalopathy
I had MRI for suspected pituitary tumour
Also electrode tests for Motor Neurone disease,
Also testing for MS, adrenal tumour, Addison’s etc
All negative……
