How does Biotin affect blood results, and silly question but would biotin in Ovaltine be enough to affect results?

I know the advice is to stop taking anything with biotin for a week before tests, but would this include a nightly cup of Ovaltine, which I noticed has biotin listed in the ingredients?

Biotin gives false results for many blood tests, including thyroid.

Looking at the nutritional information for Ovaltine they say that the amount of biotin per 100g is 50.0ug and per serving is 19.7ug.

If you were to take a B Complex containing 400mcg biotin it would be advised to leave it off for 3 days, if you took a high dose biotin supplement, eg 5000mcg, it would be advised to leave it off for a week.

The amount contained in one cup of Ovaltine is very small in comparison so probably wont make any difference.
